Toronto 2150 Lake Shore | 224.28m | 67s | First Capital | B+H

SSP member TorontoDrew noticed some serious-looking construction on-site recently, but I strongly assume nothing is starting here, or Northern Lights would have dug it up and reported it.

True, if I was looking mind you............. but I didn't miss anything....

Nothing happening here related to this project

True.

. just trailers on site and vehicles parked there from workers on the gardiner park lawn bridge replacement

Well...........

^Thanks..

...this does remind of all those commercials you have to wade through before we get to the main feature. Good thing here I suppose is this is a million times better than those commercials. But, yes...patience, indeed.

Bumping this thread because of the mega news in the Real Estate world: First Capital is no more, and with that i'm afraid we can very likely kiss goodbye to the saving grace plan of 2150 Lakeshore, and Humber Bay:

For people not knowledgeable in these matters. How does this acquisition effect 2150 Lake Shore? Will the new company value engineer the project or do they have a track record of under delivering?

Depends on who acquired 2150 Lake Shore; I dont know officially who the wouldbe acquirer of the site would be, but i'm assuming it's very likely KingSett.

If it's KingSett then they sure as hell arent building, and they'll attempt to divvy the site up to the highest bidder. It it's Choice, then expect this site to stay dormant for a very long time (longer compared to if KingSett was the owner).

Either way, it's not particularly good news for this site as the master plan will be changed. To what degree, it's too early to say.
