I made a wise-crack a few months ago suggesting the top floors were another broken render-promise... but the rising steel around the mech penthouse is indeed going to approximate the render-promise (my bad).

A lot more up on my site
All the steel work has been installed with some equipment still being installed. Saw the tower crane with a square lift frame hanging from the hook as it was calling a day. Depending on what else has to be lift into position. it's possible we will see the crane starting to come down by June and out of the skyline by September.
This will leave only 2 M City cranes in the skyline of MCC as well the Exchange Tower until some time in 2027 when they will be all gone and no other cranes in the skyline.
If one look closely at this photo, you will see the vents for the mechanical area and not visible from the street unless you know to where to look for and hard to see.

Sadly it seems a fire broke on the lower, presumably occupied, floors. I hope no one is hurt.

I havnt heard a lot else about this anywhere else and it looks like the Reddit thread says the fire was medicated. So I think hopefully that means it was just small and didn’t hurt anyone.
