Feels a bit like ESB and Woolworth had a baby... except for the unnecessary middle volume of curtain-wall, which should have continued the masonry look (proof I have better taste than AI).

Might as well top the crown/spire with patination/oxidated teal copper.

This isn't nearly as ambitious and isn't as faithful to the original 1930s design as my original render, in fact it is almost identical to the HP design below the spire besides the AI blurriness, but I still like it a lot

Unless someone like Stern is involved and the developer is willing to pay for reproduction materials, this plan would likely look really bad in the end unfortunately.

That's a cogent comparison. I would love to see the NY Towers disappear, or at least those appalling crowns. Even Vegas would reject those as too tacky.
