Well I know of at least five spots around the area there is out on Sunnydale there is also by the old Catholic School I'm pretty sure that the new schools have a housing component to them it's crazy because it doesn't seem like Wasaga has slowed down at all though a lot of these subdivisions were probably sold out years ago and are just getting permits

Mods, Is it really appropriate to post 1 storey buildings outside of the GTA? Do we need updates on the Petro Canada opening up in Windsor in the buildings section?
 
Wasaga could just get a megathread, I'm guessing people who live there are excited for a costco coming which is why this thread is here.
 
The thread isn't for a one story petrol station. it's for a new Costco if we wanted to make a thread possibly for hospitality improvements going on in wasaga Beach to document the five new six-story hotels going up I would be fine with that I'm just not sure of the rules so as I see stuff going on I create threads for it because I find other people on here that visit the area might find it interesting I don't live in Toronto so this is how I contribute I'm pretty sure @Mike K feels the same way

Kris yeah we are excited and also it's nice to be able to post pictures and not just view everybody else's all the time I literally drive around thinking about new threads to make so that I can contribute more gas is just too expensive to go to Barriw and Owen sound these days 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
 
If someone doesn't like the content or geographic area just skip over the thread or don't read it - others might find it relevant or interesting. There are other threads in the UT forum that have nothing to do with development in Southern Ontario - examples; Gordie Howe Bridge, PM Mark Carney, Alto high speed rail / Via, President Donald Trump, Canadian military spending, and so on. I skip over threads that don't appeal to me and go onto the next. Wasaga Beach / Collingwood are a little over 1 1/2 hours from Toronto - similar in distance to threads about development in Kitchener, etc.

Wasaga is part of our area. But I understand your feelings. Will think about it.
