Building Demolition by Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue

Expected timeline: as early as mid-February 2026 to May 2026

To accommodate future construction of the Yonge North Subway Extension, three buildings at the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Steeles Avenue (6369, 6991, and 6995 Yonge Street) will be demolished. This work is required to clear space for tunnelling materials and equipment and to build the future Steeles Station.
