Walking tours abound, but I got such a kick out of this Columbian chap (“Travelling Robert”) who lives in Florida winding his way from the Distillery District along the waterfront on a gorgeous late September day to St. Lawrence Market, Sankofa Square and eventually the CN Tour (with a Jays game happening) … I actually watched all 40 minutes. 
He did a lot just one day.
Kensington Market 3/4 the way through was definitely the highlight (live music everywhere on a Sunday) and I think he was rather overwhelmed by the cacophony of sounds, smells and humanoids.
