I sat on the temporary end stands for the Grey Cup back in 2016 and it definitely felt like you were outside of the stadium.

They had similar temporary stands in Sao Paolo when I attended in 2014. It's still a fun atmosphere and sometimes the best seat you can get/afford is far from the pitch. Views were fine and I much prefer the form of temporary seating than the 80K seat stadiums they build in some countries that never get filled again.
