When this 7 km phase of the Under Gardiner Public Realm Plan is complete, Phase 2 will be up top (working project title Over the Under).

I mean it looks fairly decent and everything.

But the problem this city has is maintaining the street lights, to you know, actually function so they have their intended effects. There are countless stretches in this city where there are underpasses where the lighting is busted up and non-functional (ie: see Yonge St underpass @ The Esplanade, Jarvis St underpass @ Lakeshore, etc, etc.).

If the city wont be serious about maintaining this kind of thing, i'm of the mind of what's the point of even doing this.
