Amazingly, this GM New Look Bus was still plying the roads of Toronto 52 years after it was first produced. Has any other motor vehicle been produced for over half a century in basically its original form? Perhaps the original Volkswagen V1 Beetle.

Sorry, just saw this now. While the New Looks in Toronto stayed in service until the end of 2011, production of the New Look actually ended in 1986. The ones that ran until 2011 were built in 1982 and 1983. 1959 to 1986 is still a long run though.

Interestingly, Nova Bus has recently beat that with LFS production beginning in 1995 and staying in production for the foreseeable future.
