For me, there's three different kinds of design on the extreme lower scale of developments. That is...

1) "They're not even trying!", which goes to the likes of "Design" Haus and to the degree, Baka Nobu.
2) "WTF where they thinking?", to which goes the likes of Strada and the Anti-Social.
3) "That's strange, I would of never thought of that...", which goes to the likes of Ellie and "Artistry".

...so despite it's dubious choice of materials this one seems to fall into the latter, IMO. As in, it's so "out there" it's almost charming. >.<

Almost looks like a build you’d find on a side street in a secondary Japanese city. The cut outs on the balcony slab still having glass railings spanning the gap… so extra

What's also disappointing is that from their original renderings, it had potential to be quite an interesting design with its playful shape and massing. Almost similar to the type of contemporary midrises you'd see in cities like Tokyo. But the finished product here ended up with a shoestring budget.

A special category for The Pugly's should be "The Cube House Award" that goes to any building that has an "innovated" design but is slapped together with shite materials and poor execution, such as with this unfortunate example here... >.<
