TTC Cartography, Signage, and Wayfinding

We got a good look now. They have seemed to remove the news and informational video moving forward from 3507’s prototype. If you guys rode 3721, it seems they went with that design with a few minor changes.View attachment 703196View attachment 703197View attachment 703198
Wow the TTC implementing something that actually looks competent and pretty well thought out? This is really jaw dropping!

I can definitely think of some other ways to improve the screen, but overall this is much better than the garbage that's displayed on buses today. I'll give them credit where credit is due.

Interesting.. they’ve been releasing a alternate style mapping to the TR’s too.

Wow….rare TTC wayfinding win. Maybe they have spies on this forum who are reading all our comments. Though realistically I always knew they would end up doing this. Line 2 trains mostly show this type of map (except it’s Line 2).

I would hope in the upcoming new subway models the TTC is acquiring, they’ll have moving digital maps….which would solve everything.

Don't think i've seen these yet

It saddens me how often people re-post the same thing without checking whether its been posted before. Guess this is just a symptom of (as Mods have said) hitting the ignore button.

You don't need a search function. Simply scrolling the last few pages quickly before posting isn't hard to do and something I do every time I'm posting something I think may have already been posted. If it's a news item, I search back to the date the article came out.
