330 front St has been fully evacuated and they have demolition teams tearing out all the wiring and interior.
What was the last building H&R built (not Lantower, H&R)?Is this project on hold or cancelled? My employer is moving back to this building after vacating its floors in 2024.
That seems odd (not doubting you, but...) given H&R has no plans to replace it in the near or long term. Why lose an income-producing asset unless there's some horrendous and costly replacement issue (they date from 1989 by which time things like asbestos had already been largely phased out).330 front St has been fully evacuated and they have demolition teams tearing out all the wiring and interior.

You can get away with a lot of interior demo without a permit, but yeah, it's very odd...Without judgement.............. I offer that there are no permits applies for or out on 330 Front St W.
And nothing current on the other two buildings, the most recent is '23 and it was a very minor mechanical (Add condensate pipe at 320)
This was my old office, I scoured all floors for e waste and confirmed no floors remaining of employees.Without judgement.............. I offer that there are no permits applied for or out on 330 Front St W.

An unnamed, very large, likely public sector tenant leased out 483 Bay St last year - I think that's more likely to be the new legislature.Hmmm, maybe the Ontario Government secured this as the new temporary legislature?
I believe we should be hearing something about that soon.

^ agree. At least the earlier version hinted at a (possible) better transition from the top of the shorter Trinity Square to the tower... instead 4s of glass. UTurbantoronto.ca

Yup the government was looking for a site in very close proximity with where QP is, Front St is not that site.An unnamed, very large, likely public sector tenant leased out 483 Bay St last year - I think that's more likely to be the new legislature.

That is the Ministry of the Attorney General, after Dream sold the building they were in to lab group out of Boston and the lease expired, out they go.So the govt is leasing in the existing building or the proposed one? Thanks!![]()
MAG is taking 4 of the floors. Could still be the legislature for the rest. That is the Ministry of the Attorney General, after Dream sold the building they were in to lab group out of Boston and the lease expired, out they go.
It would be the existing if that’s the case.So the govt is leasing in the existing building or the proposed one? Thanks!![]()
