I love watching these buildings transform. The care they're taking is impressive.

Am I the only person who feel like the left building cheaped out with the windows? I mean those bows at the top were there for a reason - to put a frame in to have square windows in just feels like it defeats the entire purpose - I mean I get it, it's a helluva lot cheaper that way.. but still.. feels like a cop-out.

The renders seem to show at least SOME of the windows with the natural bow at the top (mainly the ones on the side of the building near that currently brown paneled up middle section), but I get it, the "original" windows kinda copped out too so who knows if that natural bow was ever actually there.

For reference - the building on the left corner on the james st side you can see they arc normally - at least one the first floor:

Definitely would raise the cost of windows to do a custom shape (for that many too), and given how minor the arch is probably just isn't worth it. I imagine the bottom floor of coppley with the large arched sections will have rounded sections (cheaper as they are just picture windows at the top).

Yes I am sure they will - those are easier to do and quite larger too. But it makes one wonder how they did the minor arched ones so easily back in the day..

Also can't wait to se the new cornice.. I've always been a bit curious how they mount them... or do they fall off over time? Is this why this one is missing one? There are quite a few "missing" in the city..
