Waypoints for the win!

That's a lot of time & work to capture all that for us. I for one appreciate all the effort that went into that.

Also it's not every day you see entire city blocks of perfectly good buildings razed to the ground with nothing left but dirt. Damn!

Thanks!

I can't figure out where the final support on the western side of the valley will go.

Either I'm right in front of it and it's just behind the camera, or it hasn't been poured yet.

You can see the three in the valley and you can even see the curve the bridge will take.

But the one on the western side at the bottom of the picture just isn't there yet.

I suspect they'll renege and screw us again, but originally they did promise a pedestrian bridge to Corktown. Though why it would be there, instead of north of the Ontario Line I don't know.

I like this one, as my mind immediately constructed a story about how that opening was covered when @flonicky arrived, but he knocked on the panels, and heard.........'Password' whispered through the hoarding.........then uttered the magic word......
delayed and then the cover was slid to one side.........and he heard "one minute', that's it."

I wonder if there was no safe route across the Bala/Don Branch tracks once the OL portal design with the GO tracks passing over top of it was finalized? It’s certainly missing from the render videos.

They do plan on reusing the existing Bala/Don Branch underpass over the Lower Don River Trail connection at Corktown Common. As for a crossing over the Don, that falls outside the scope of the Ontario Line Project and into the scope of the Lake Shore Boulevard East Public Realm project, the Port Lands Flood Protection project, and the Gardner Expressway Realignment. The plan for that is to realign the Lower Don River Trail to connect to the planned Multi-use Path on the north side of Lake Shore Boulevard which will then cross the Don River on the Lake Shore Boulevard bridge.
