As per the Star, it looks like Goodgood Cafe are planning to open a new location at the former Spielhaus boardgame Cafe on St. Clair (just west of Dufferin):

A place called the "Balloonery" has opened up a few doors west of the upcoming Goodgood Cafe on St. Clair mentioend above. Yes, they sell balloons of all different varieties.

Strawbella dessert shop is now open on Greenlaw Ave, a couple blocks south of St Clair. There was a previous retail concept that was planned here, although I'm not sure if that had opened for a bit or not.

Didn't appear that they were fully opened yet but I passed by and noticed that the former La Paloma gelato shop at St. Clair West & Lansdowne is becoming "El Palomar". Appears to be a Latin American desserts shop.

Did they just edit the sign? I love when places do that. My favourite being Embassy-->Kembass.
