Saw traffic on the new Tremaine overpass yesterday. Not sure when it opened, but vehicles are now flowing!

Looks like the 401 closure between RR25 and Guelph Line from 9pm on the 12th to 9am on the 13th is to "support the demotion of the existing Tremaine Road bridge". Not sure if that means they are taking the bridge down or just prepping to take it down...

I hope it doesn't take them that long to get the Morrison bypass going. The backup getting onto 6S from EB 401 is getting worse by the day, lots of traffic there. I 'like' how they temporarily solved the problem many years back by just making the exit lane from the 401 longer.

There has been some paving on the other side of the barriers on the WB side of the 401, past highway 25. Not sure if they are going to have additional lanes past highway 25 any time soon, but maybe. Obviously the bottleneck will remain regardless but may help traffic flow a little in that area...

Will the concrete section of this expansion end at the previous phase? It seems it will be only asphalt from there on (West) as the collector lanes have only been paved, no asphalt.
