New 12 storey Boutique building to be launched very soon at 40 Dovercourt where Sudbury and Dovercourt meet. Project is to be called ART. Developer is TRIANGLE WEST DEVELOPMENTS INC.

The Brokers Preview for Westside Lofts Phase2 (The Curve) is scheduled for tomorrow at 2pm...if anyone is interested let me know.

That's the one. I beleive the sales office will remain as an art gallery as planned. That's the only thing that Urbancorp hasn't changed about this project...yet.

Baywood Homes will be constructing a "Flatiron" building on the site directly south of The Gladstone Hotel to replace the infamous Country Site coffee shop.

Phase 1, the tower, is now under construction.

Urbancorp has also made some changes to the facade of Westside Lofts. The bright, colourful cladding has been replaced with more subtle tones, similar to M5V. I think it's an improvement.

When Westside Lofts originally launched the price per sq/ft was around 300-330 per foot. West Queen West has realized it's value and so has Urbancorp. I'm sure Phase 2 will be launched around the 400-420 to keep pace with Bohemian Embassy.

I have a copy of the original price list filed away. Originally, studios were priced from 149K for 400sq/ft and 179,900 for 600 sq/ft

Got a phone call from the sales office for Westside Lofts last night. Phase 2 (formerly The Curve), has been cancelled. I suspect the builder will re-launch in spring at a higher price per sq/ft, as Cresford did with Mode.

Fashion House Launch Party I went to the Fashion House Launch Party Saturday night....had a few free cosmo's and stayed for the lame fashion show. Music was pretty good. Regret arriving with a full belly...didn't take advantage of the complimentary sandwiches.
