Personally am a fan of keeping it on Sheppard especially since the line 2 extension will provide a connection to Scarborough town centre anyways. I'd prefer the full east extension, replacing the need for the ECLRT East along that segment.

As a regular rider of UP and a huge fan of the train both as a commuter and flyer, I'm extremely angry by this move. Actively makes the service worse for a ton of people for a negligible benefit.

I don't mind the type of cladding they're using (cause I don't have to live there).... ...but why that color? Looks awful.

I really would not call the Yonge line "underbuilt"

With this attitude, much of old toronto would be covered with expressways. Public consultation (and even just the planning in general) is practically pennies compared to the cost of construction. Cutting it would not save anything meaningful except time. Yes, we should value the experts...

Honorific line names are fine during planning and construction but should be named after the corridors they follow once construction is complete. They're doing this backwards.
