I dunno...I am getting impatient to begin zipping across Eglinton. I have avoided the street for about five years and it has even affected how much I visit close friends, since it's so painful to get around on Eglinton and in the neighbourhoods close to. When you think about it, construction of...

Let's see if I have this clear. 1. There are 18 finished pairs and 4 more unfinished pairs for a total of 22 pairs and 44 vehicles on the ground at the Belfast yard. 2. Only 13 pairs are consistently in service. My further questions. i) How many consists need to be in service to provide the 3...

Holy crap! Where did that come from?

Is the issue with enough trains “don’t own enough” or “haven’t got all we bought into service yet”?

Memories are oddly short. Expectations of a subway or rail system whatever it is are high. As they should be. Ottawa took a jump into big city status and the plans for phase II are ambitious.

That is still probably about 40 more vehicles than are at Mount Dennis today. And vehicles may be the least of it. The interchange stations at Eglinton and Cedarvale are still very much works in progress based on the photos here.

Hmm. great video of Cedarvale underpinning...mebbe.... If ION in Kitchener-Waterloo had a run-in of almost a year...well more than six months anyway... One year from planned in service is about 12 months from now... I can't remember the Gantt charts, but are we expecting vehicles to be...

Balderdash. It's a great success and it's busy. Where are the rest of the trains? I have managed complex systems. Sometimes in spite of years of planning, the introduction into service is complex. Good luck to the management of OC Transpo.

For some reason, I like the stretch from Bay west to Avenue. It seemed green this past summer. As for the granite, it is not up to the vehicle traffic it would seem. Time to find something a bit more robust.

I myself have no effin' idea. But given my punchy answers above, I can't see the improvements in less than a decade. I'm off to Indigo to get a book and Eataly to see what's new.

I must be feelin' punchy today. 1. Let's finish the tallest building in the city first. 2. No. Because when we finish the building, we're gonna dig a hole in the ground and move the Line 2 platform to increase the capacity of Bloor-Yonge Station and foul up the intersection for years of fun and...

There are valid financial reasons for saying that. But it‘s going to be very hard to mitigate our carbon footprint with a rapid transit network this small. We’ll have to get used to going nowhere very fast. Life will be very local.

Light must be too poor here. I did miss the light blue line. Sorry @Hopkins123 . It should go east to Seneca at DVP I say.

    1. Is it just me or is the Finch West LRT missing? Hey! You’re not allowed to leave out approved and under construction lines. Shouldn’t the Hurontario LRT be in there too? You know it goes to the Lakeshore. 2. This is all we get in 80 years? R U kidding?
