It's possible the hypothetical ALTO station could be in proximity to the Eglinton Crosstown-Ontario Line interchange at Don Mills and Eglinton. Particularly given that the Ontario Line will be extended north from Don Valley Station at some point.

Is 8A using the Don Branch AND the abandoned Leaside Spur up to Bond Park? The City owns the spur now, and turned it into the Don Mills Trail a long time ago. If so, it is difficult to see how 8A could ever happen. But maybe I am reading the map incorrectly... ?

If it's even physically and/or technologically possible within the corridor, I could see UPX being converted to a second line using "Ontario Line" technology, but I have a harder time seeing UPX merged with Line 3.
