Construction fencing has appeared in the Great Hall over the last week, closing off the unused VIA counters east of the ramp to the VIA departures concourse. Anyone know why?
5m deep retail? 2.6m to Yonge is way too close for a 46 storey tower! Set it back above a decent podium! Also 564m2 GCA. That's one of the smallest I've ever heard of for a building of this scale. 123 units/elevator also not great.
Thanks. That is honestly so stupid. Where side street access exists, we should not be creating new pedestrian hazards on major arterials. I can already picture drivers sitting in the middle of the sidewalk waiting for a gap in the traffic.
Did they seriously create a brand new mid-block driveway on Dupont Street when they could have just had a driveway out to Shaw Street? Dupont is enough of a pedestrian hazard zone and traffic mess. This will not help.

Inflationary adjustment in 2026? I thought the 2026 TPA budget was approved with a parking rate freeze. Is this referring to the 2026 prep of the 2027 budget?
"Modified rates" is interesting. There is the most to gain not from moving every rate up by the same amount but actually moving high...
Did anyone notice the whole Gerrard East project is on hold thanks to the morons at Queens Park? It involved removing just 2 left turn lanes which is now against the law. This project is already 3 years late...
I think the City needed MPAC data to make it work, which is controlled by the province. They were going to ask MPAC for the data last I recall, not sure what happened with that.
