Judging by all the recent high vacancy in the core, i doubt any more office towers will be built after the second phase of CIBC square.

The problem is that the drivers coalition is a drivers first transit last group. So the transit priority is so down the list for the city it's ridiculous. What's even more crazy that they built this massive project on Eglinton with car transit signals to operate these trains. Crazy.

If they did that, then it cost billions to fix every platform and order high floor trains. Unless they treat it like the GO train where the platforms don't even match the train height.

I believe when this opens something will have to give from the public and the TTC will be forced to change their speed models. The whole point of these projects was to get more bang for your buck. And if that fails then best believe they (TTC) will see very angry customers coming their way.

They underestimated how complicated building new stations under the current stations would be.

This will clearly get tagged by graffiti and it also could be a bad spot to get mugged..

What's crazy is that even if GO finishes electrifying some of the lines, They'll have to rip up these station platforms just to have them be level platform ready.

I think it might have to do with the new trains they MIGHT be getting that COULD have platform level boarding..

Ridiculous. This is actually just as slow as the Spadina streetcars. This is going to be a big problem once this starts operating.
