    Toronto KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Allied | Bjarke Ingels Group

I agree. You can Immediately see the difference from the 1980's vs now. Even the old office towers have color vs now. It's crazy how the city has been doing this safe nonsense for decades with no end in sight.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

I know ppl personally that worked on this project, and they were telling me that sometimes they would purposely redo platfoms or not fix things on time. Just so they could funnel in more money.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

This is the BIGGEST money laundering project in Canadian history.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

It's because it's in a "if they build it they will come" area.

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

To be quite honest, it's absolutely EMBARRASSING how slow transit construction/upgrades take in Canada. What also baffles me is how expensive it is to build here versus overseas or in asia. I don't understand how we continue to go at a snails pace when the rest of world is evolving. it's like...

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

These are probably my favorite Bi-level trains and i wish GO would use these.

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

Which REALLY sucks. I was really looking forward to German style train scheduling. Does this mean that our upcoming signal upgrades won't be what they were meant to be?

    GO Transit Electrification | Metrolinx

Imagine if Metrolinx ordered the EMU trains from the ones in Australia. Those trains are beautiful.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Interesting. I've also wondered why we can't just hire companies from overseas to come build here.

    GO 2.0 Expansion Plan

It's also because it's already happening. So to talk about the present expansion wouldn't benefit them IMO

    Toronto Union Park | 303.33m | 71s | Oxford Properties | Hariri Pontarini

Why does Toronto ALWAYS have to cheapen itself when it comes to grandiose projects??? this is the only time Toronto can FINALLY play with big boy cities, and this is what we get in return?? Ugh. It's frustrating when the city continues to act like it's not a top 5 major city in North America...

    Toronto KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Allied | Bjarke Ingels Group

Interesting results so far. What's with the grey blank spaces at the top of the glass??

    Toronto Pinnacle One Yonge | 351.85m | 106s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

This is looking very Miami-ish. Which is a good thing?

    Toronto Yorkdale Intensification | 150.5m | 50s | Oxford Properties | Hariri Pontarini

Well to be fair, The Well was a very strategically planned neighborhood with a built in mall, where Yorkdale was NEVER meant have condos built on top of it, let alone near it.

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

The minute Metrolinx took over "Smarttrack" they just turned it into a GO city express line.

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

Oh most definitely. Look how fast they're also working on the Eglinton west extension in hs riding. That side will be done before the line opens.

    Toronto Ontario Line 3 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Oh wow!. For some reason that looks like it could collapse or worse, a landslide..

    Toronto Eglinton Line 5 | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Apparently the EELRT will use different vehicles because of how the tunnels will be positioned away from Kennedy station and the SSE (Line 2 extension to STC)

Future Toronto Skyline March 2023 - Bloor-Yorkville to the Waterfront

Wow. What's even more crazy is that this is from the lake to ONLY Bloor. It just shows you how massive Toronto is.
