I guess now is the time to demolish those few mid-rise slabs of "pure ugly". I wonder where the former residents of demolished residential buildings go? hopefully they could negotiate that when the time comes or else we're stuck with those hideous buildings. :p

uugh....the balconies have such a cheapening effect on this one like it has on many others like MLS, Casa, X..heck even Success Tower just doesnt feel right with bland ugly balconies that make the building look fatter than it actually is

i don't know if anybody notices but it's common knowledge that the parking lot right across from this site should..and WILL BE gone after this project is finished....i just don't understand why they can't build parking lots UNDERGROUND...guess they don't realize how ugly they look in a...

i didn't mean it that close. but somewhat close. It's one of those apartments that is slightly v-shaped. As for what street it is located, i have no idea. I saw it in a picture on a thread in skyscrapercity and i'd figure that somebody here would know what i'm talking about......:confused:

I don't know whether i speak for everyone on this but...man i just can't stand those ugly apartments right in front of the manulife centre (especially the blue, v-shaped one on the corner of yonge & ?). It just takes the meaning away from the Business Improvement Area (Yonge & Bloor) and there...

Yeah, that may be true, but just having a building taller than the CN Tower will just seem weird since it has been the tallest for such a long time. So it will take a lot of getting used to in that case.

Why would you ever want a building close to the height range of the CN tower? That would do some damage to the skyline especially since the CN tower should be the only tall structure above the rest. Am i not right?
