There is an illuminated Oxford logo on one side of the crane and an illuminated PCL logo on the other. Because they are set out in white, they are very bright at night but barely noticeable during the day (which would seem to defeat the purpose).

I was referring to the new steel (eventually glass-clad) "roof" of the new middle portion of the shed, and the new OCAD-like support beams that will hold it up. I wasn't referring to the existing shed on either side (which I understand will be cleaned, etc.) Even if they aren't painted white...

Fanny Chadwicks (corner of Howland and Dupont) is a little bit pricier than Grapefruit Moon but is really delicious. Don't let the corny name mislead you, it's fantastic.

Why are the windows on the new subway cars tinted? I find this a somewhat disconcerting, as it somewhat obscures the view of the station from inside the (brightly lit) car. I wasn't aware that excess sunlight was a problem that needed fixing in a subway car...
