    Why? It would have to be quite deep, given how deep Sheppard East station is. Don't the tail tracks at Sheppard East go further north than that? Where's the TBM launch hole?

    It's almost a 10-minute walk from the current GO Station to the Ion stop on King Street. It was bad enough years ago trying to do this with luggage from the VIA station to the stop for the 7 bus.     What should be there is densified commercial and residential around the new station. If there was to be a yard there, it should be under a development!

    Sure, but what they'll do first is whatever the government says to do. So if the government changes, they'll magically find not only a different option - but they'll say it's better.

    If it took 9 hours to get to the southern coast of England from London, I think there were other issues! Only about 425 km from Heathrow to Penzance, on good roads!

    That's kind of misleading when that's the peak rush-hour exception more than the rule. 15-minutes or better tells us we can rely on it, even on Sunday evenings.

    Which would be along the lines of what Metrolinx suggested in 2008 (no idea what they were thinking for layover/turnback ... I'd think it could just be a dead-end like at Pearson).
