My mum and dad would borrow films from the library, as well as the projector and screen, for my birthday parties when I was a kid. It was mostly cartoons like Goofy and Daffy Duck, and was around the same time period when this picture was taken. Thanks for stirring such great memories!

Interesting to see the electricity transformer station at John and Wellington at the centre of the photo. Still there today and has become a landmark.

The only other Beer Store located on Danforth is between Victoria Park and Pharmacy. It will be interesting to see if they relocate nearby. Greenwood must be an important location for them.
