It doesn't even have to be a restaurant. Just an outdoor/indoor space with windows to look at the city. Maybe a bar or something should people want to stay a while. I used to love having drinks at the top of the Hancock tower in Chicago.
Was it the CIBC tower 3 proposal that had a restaurant...
I wish Toronto would do more observation decks, bars or restaurants. You would think they might gauge the interest in the market as they go into planning stages to support things like visitor entrances and facilities
I always wondered if RBC wanted to consolidate some spaces downtown. Even though we have 88 qq and 155 wellington, i think those spaces are pretty maxed out already. If they want us to return to 5 days a week, we would definitely need more space.
I sure do! Maritime Life was one of the only commercial projects that wasn't a traditional box. Then along came Spire which wowed us with height. The city I see now is so different from what it was then.
Wow. I totally forgot about that. I should see if I can dig it up somewhere. Wow 20 years has gone by quickly. I remember how excited we all were at the prospect of a 30+ story building and desperately hoping for some commercial development. We're spoiled for choice these days.
Happy birthday...

Like others have posted, use new LED...
I wonder if some of the dump trucks are dumping from the Dundas and Beresford dig. That site was in a similar state where the builder was supposed to maintain a clean, filled site when it just became a dumping ground for garbage and dangerous fencing. Now that they have dug, they built the...
I take it none of you have children. I have no issues with it. How are we to know someone hasn't jumped on a plane and made their way from Thunder Bay to Toronto? Even if it saves the life of 1 child, it's worth it. Quit your complaining and put your phone on mute.
