My guess is they're trying to expand the retail space. It looks like they've demolished and rebuilt the wall between the main store area and the back office, but maybe that's just an illusion with the fridges gone. I also think the ceiling lights have been replaced?
Ahh, I thought the "Buy & Sell" woulda been something painted on in maybe the 90s or 2000s... it's cool how it remained un-painted-over all these decades! And I was wondering what those curvy brown lines were...
