    Empress Walk Retail

    My guess is they're trying to expand the retail space. It looks like they've demolished and rebuilt the wall between the main store area and the back office, but maybe that's just an illusion with the fridges gone. I also think the ceiling lights have been replaced?

    Ahh, I thought the "Buy & Sell" woulda been something painted on in maybe the 90s or 2000s... it's cool how it remained un-painted-over all these decades! And I was wondering what those curvy brown lines were... Oh, the quirky little things that get uncovered by demolition... <3

    The second floor (and the "A Touch of Class Wedding Photo & Video" sign are finally all gone :D Also, a 70s(?) painted design on the ajoining building has now been partially uncovered.

    They seemed to have changed the sign from a sky blue "Windows on Church" sign to a white "The Widow" one... An art window à la turque, hien...? Sounds yummy ^_^
