Apparently they kept the existing hotel and they are building a new tower with two more brands for a target date of next year. Pretty sure it’s under construction or very close. Someone please check on this site when you can

Here’s my fantasy map that I would love to see completed by 2040-2045 with minimal expansion needed afterwards but knowing this city it probably wouldn’t come true by 2075. I was lazy to name the Hurontario line stops haha but yes it would be partially integrated into the TTC subway system...

What I would do is reduce the units and turn them into larger luxury ones, and extend the hotel space. I really want to see this built but no one in the right mind would pay $2500+ a square foot for a shoebox condo especially now.

Absolutely pathetic that they are getting rid of hotel space (only a tiny fraction of this development’s square footage) when we have the worst accommodation shortage in North America. If you haven’t please sign my petition https://www.change.org/TorontoHotelCrisis

Like a lot of you here I am also a coaster enthusiast. I am hyped to ride this but I refuse to believe things like “this is a top 5 ride in the world” and “better than Velocicoaster”. Guess I will find out tomorrow lol In all seriousness though this ride looks absolutely batcrap insane
