At this pointthey should just buy some LCDs from aliexpress it would probably cost the same amount to the fix the LED placement. Hell, put an occasional ad and it will eventually pay for itself
Will the city be allowed to convert on-street parking to transit and bike lanes? If so, wouldn't it be possible to turn the curb lanes into parking for a year and then propose a bike lane that would technically not remove vehicle lanes?
Im a little confused on the metrics for the midtown line, did they seriously only measure ridership from st. Clair and jane to Summerhill station? Thats would be a tiny portion of any proposed midtown line
150,000 passengers a day? That's busier than Union Subway station, at that point, there should be a light metro, a GO tunnel and maybe a line 2 extension for good measure. A bus station that busy would be stuck in its own traffic.
I have a potentially stupid question; was a station ever considered at strachen next to the Lakeshore Line? It seems like reasonable place for western LV especially next to all those condos and its a decent distance between exhibition and bathurst
At this point, the cracks in the foundation are an urban legend, One may wonder what lurks in the alleged cravices of Eglinton station, they may even be home to a house hippo habitat
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I made a redesign of the intersection, It is probably terrible but at least it has cycle tracks.
but tbh anything might be better than the current setup
The city should have set out service streets in the secondary plan for the neighbourhood, so there would have been a single public street to which both developments connect their driveways/access roads.
Im working on a project on the waterfront in Toronto and that is how servicing is being set...
