I know because of the track conditions the trip takes twice as long. I agree with the rest of your post. I feel the tracks should have been upgraded and bus service introduced first. The service is poor like you said but it seems its just political so.

Via already stops in these places though. The idea is good but the implementation is awful.

The whole London thing is just not a good idea. Being stuck on a GO Train for 4 hours is not an ideal night no matter how you slice it.

They should aim for Mount Pleasant. No need for crowding in Bramalea.

All transfers are the same according to people in this city. That's their fault. Designing for lack of transfers is bad practice but it's what we do because of some of the people here.

I guess, I'm just not looking forward to the complaints about the transfer.

I don't disagree with your analysis. My issue is that yet another terminal made the Bloor Danforth extension more expensive. You many be right about connectivity, but what was cheaper? Sheppard crossing the 401 or another Kennedy style terminal at Sheppard between STC and Unionville?

Which is why the Bloor Danforth should have ended at the mall like planned and not Sheppard.

I mean in terms of track improvements. They should reconsider full double-tracking but the upgrades should be enough to get to 90 minutes. Weekend service needs to happen to Mount Pleasant now though. Thanks for the update on Barrie. I wish they would move the south Newmarket station, it feels...

Kitchener should should be down to 1:20 once they are done imo. Just need weekend service now. Barrie is ok but they have got to get to hourly to Barrie, it's taking a long time. Also the Mulock station needs to be built soon.
