I wish they would use a different colour/finish cladding here. The entire block of condos in this area is gonna have the same cladding. Give us some black or brick cladding or some type of variety.

This looks so huge it makes all the tall towers around it look short in comparison

Looking north or south this part of the Yonge st corridor really needed a tower with warm colours/cladding. It really helps break the sea of greys and blues you see everywhere. We need more buildings like this.

Fantastic so the street will continue to look like trash for decades to come. Nice 👍🏼

Are they removing the ugly beige concrete blocks that were recently installed or are those staying to continue to make the street look like 💩

It Would’ve been nice to have the top crown have a more sculptural tapered in design like the 2 IFC in Hong Kong. It Would elevate the overall building to an iconic status. The height and slenderness gives it the presence and dominance in the skyline, but the flat rooftop falls shorts .

It’s not grey, it’s a light beige colour. I think it will compliment the stone heritage facade bellow. I don’t think it’s gorgeous but definitely not hideous.

    Toronto No. 31 Condos | 153.63m | 46s | Lanterra | Arquitectonica

It may be cheap cladding but at least from far away it adds warmth to the skyline and breaks the all glass monotone look of most condos. Specially for the distillery we should have more brick in all new buildings

Based on the renders most of them won’t glow but some will.

Holy, the impact it has on the skyline is insane! It definitely elevates the skyline to a new level of impressive. This + phase 3 + the Hub, and sugar wharf phase 2 will finish transforming the skyline in the coming years.

It’s gonna look so tall and slim when it’s done.

    Toronto The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

This tower should be taller so I hope it’s true and the spike in office space rental leads to a height increase here. We need an office tower super tall. At least 300m

Is there a way we can put presssure on this firm? I don’t know Flood them with online criticism and backlash so they rethink producing the most mundane and mediocre architecture in this city? When is it gonna end with this people? Why developers keep hiring them to do this trash work? There’s...
