The crazy thing is that we DID have a thaw right before all of this crazy weather started happening. Almost all of the snow had melted. And then the snow came again. And again. And again. But yes, a highly unusual / snowy winter.

I have also wondered about all these condo towers going up in the middle of nowhere Oakville. Definitely better than more sprawling subdivisions though.

This morning and yesterday morning I noticed workers from A&B Rail doing something at Hurontario and Elm. No idea what, but looked like something rail-related, which I know is stating the obvious. Just surprising with all the snow I guess.

The top is cute. Everything below that looks awful. Just looks like a horrible mish-mash of design. If the whole building had that temple aesthetic maybe I'd like it more. But I'm very surprised people are liking this proposal. As is, I think it's atrocious.
