Are they allowed to put advertisements up before the project has been approved? What if it gets rejected? I know they will obviously have to take it down, but wouldn't it be better to wait until it gets approved before we start advertising it?

Is the tower on 141 Bay Street the one that is cancelled? Because that seems to be the tallest one that was proposed.

2 300 meter buildings proposed in the past week. Wow that is impressive even for Toronto haha.

Oxford place proposal is taller and better looking imo. However, I actually like this a lot too. I kinda expected an "unflat" top but it still looks better than majority of the proposals we have gotten. Imo it is better than both 1 bloor east and aura :)

I honestly doubt any proposal <300m will be better than Scotia Plaza. Amazing architecture at that height and width is almost impossible to beat imho.

Its a relief that this project looks good because it will clearly have a CN Tower effect on the area.

Although i respect your opinion, I would like to say that this is why Toronto doesn't get many unique and interesting developments. It seems that when someone tries to step out of the box even a little they are met with this kind of reaction.

I don't hate this project, I think in the future when we get more tall developments on this side of the CN Tower, it will be good. :)

I know right???!!!! If there is any place in ALL of Toronto that deserves a project this massive, it has got to be Yonge Street! This area has so much potential and a downsized version of this project would be a tragedy imo.

I honestly get WAY too excited every time someone writes something in this thread. I wish they would hurry up and release some info on this project.

Do we have a confirmed height on this? Also they seem to be proposing multiple towers again, any chance they remove a couple of buildings and increase height like M+G and hopefully One Yonge?

The Mirvish+Gehry facebook page just announced that the taller tower WILL reach 1000 feet.
