Here's a couple of photos of the Bloor bike lane installation I took earlier this afternoon. The first photo is from Avenue looking west, the second from St. George looking east. You can see the old car lane markings are stripped, guides for the new markings are down, and the bike lane lines...

From earlier this morning, dead/dying trees coming down just east of Yonge, and the first new tree ready to go in.

It's not visible in the photos above, but there's also a brick arch inside the southwest corner at a 45 degree angle. If you look closely at the render (post #16) it'll be above the entrance on the corner, which'll be set back facing the corner at the same angle.

I think they're running the same tight schedule on Dufferin until it's completely articulated buses, then spacing it out more. So we'll see bunching for a while yet.

I'm not surprised you didn't realize there were more floors above. The escalators are walled in on either side and the up escalator faces away from most of the main floor. I honestly couldn't find it for a few minutes the last time I was in the store, even though I knew it was on the floor...

At first I read that as "workers were onsite twerking." There's a visual for you.

Love the story of an unused floor full of vintage office equipment. As adma said, the passageway to this building is real. It's easy to find if you start on the Bay Station side -- the entrance is on the mezzanine level, in the same corridor as the TTC Lost Articles Office.

Management made you delete photos? I don't think they had any right to make you do that. Download a free data recovery program before you take any more pictures! I've used iCare Data Recovery Free in the past.

The render shows two or three mature trees in the parking lot directly north of the project, neatly obscuring it to the casual observer.
