Wasn't it shown in MTO's long term plans is for this line is to connect to Pearson through Kipling station?

I noticed there was static with the station announcements. Is that going to be fixed ?

I rode this line for the first time yesterday and it’s not that bad. Only issue was stopping at red lights on the surface sections. It was pretty busy. The interior of underground stations seem too bland. Where is the colour ? I would rate is 7/10.

I don’t see another non grade separated LRT being built in this city. Goodbye to that Eglinton East LRT, it will never be built. Any extensions of Finch LRT to the Woodbine GO station and further to the airport and also Eglinton to the airport will be grade separated.

I think this line shouldn't open until TPS and other speed issues have been ironed out.

Why do you keep jumping to conclusions ? They have only showed segment from Ottawa to Montreal with a stop in Laval. They haven’t shown the Ottawa to Toronto. We don’t know the number of stops this segment will have yet.

That original estimate for the OL was for just the capital costs. The new estimate includes maintenance and operations if I'm not mistaken. The capital costs increased but not by that much.

Why would it be Metrolinx or the TTC ? Do they control the traffic lights in the city ?

This line is the death kneel for LRT in this city. With such crap speeds the public will turn against LRT in this form and I don’t see any more being built. We might as well just build BRT and save billions.

What a joke of line and it’s day 1. TTC thinks this is a streetcar.
