GO Transit: Service thread (including extensions)

source? Trains have been run at irregular times many occasions on the Milton line in the past few months that indicate current service levels are far less than what is possible. - September 13 2025: (a Saturday): 12:54pm eastbound train, 6:29pm westbound train - September 27 2025 (a Saturday)...

While it's definitely appreciated, the new Route 21 bus schedule (at least express to/from Milton which I am looking at) still does not return to October 2021-April 2023 service levels before everything was rerouted to Lakeshore West, much less pre-pandemic service. Some service which was...

Looks like on Monday November 3 there will be 2 extra morning trains and 2 extra evening trains on the Milton line, an increase due to the Lakeshore West construction closure. With 24 trains total, this will be (pathetically) a new record high of daily service. AM to Union: 6:00 6:30 6:45 7:00...

The problem is that they're sometimes running hourly service with single-decker buses. For example from TransSee on today Sep 11 we see: 9:10 - single 9:40 - double 10:15 - double 10:45 - double 11:20 - double 12:20 - single 1:20 - single That just isn't gonna work. The bus ridership...

We're now at November 2019 train service levels on the Milton line 5 years later... yay? Only 1 more train than 30+ years ago in October 1990-May 1991 during which there were 19 trains per day compared to 20 thirty years later. Wow what a benevolent government.

Even rush hour service is shocking. Back in 2002, there were 6 eastbound trips from Milton to Finch between 5am and 8am. 22 years later, there are 7. In 2002 there were 7 westbound trips from Finch to Milton between 2pm and 8pm. In 2024 there are 8, and the last last one leaves earlier than in...

Actually the new 27 schedule just removed half of the recent gains... there is now only 1 round trip on weekends to Milton and it stops at Meadowvale after 8pm on weekdays. I really would like them to just move to the 407. During rush hour, the 27 sometimes goes all the way up to the 407/400...
