No worse than riding the bike path that runs right behind the row of targets.

I don't mind benches, TTC vehicles used to have thickly padded upholstered benches at one time, which I presume did not last long and were easily vandalized. Then came bucket seats made of metal or plastic with a thin red cloth coating, and I used to think, they're not fooling me with that...

I don't have stats for your questions, but you're right, every station now being built or expanded must have a mezzanine level between platforms, even though we didn't need them when they made Bloor/Yonge and St. George.

If they turn some seats sideways but still make them child sized, as they currently do on buses, people will only use every other seat. (Actually, 2 out of a group of 3 seats get used, so it's not quite that bad, but still dumb.)

Ever since I've been older than a child, I've noticed the TTC has child sized seats. Before they turned some seats sideways, I couldn't fit in them, and had to sit in the aisle seat, half turned, because there was nowhere for my knees. They think they're squeezing more people in, but people...

At least they acknowledge the problem, and are committed to fixing it. I would prefer to sit on the raised seats, but they are right under the speakers, and the noise is intolerable. When the TTC started putting voice announcements by the doors on the outside of vehicles, the sound was also...

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

This is great news. I was expecting to see full service hours being delayed until the summer. Hopefully line 5 full hours are coming soon. I agree it's disappointing that LRT lines don't run 24 hours. When line Don Valley / Science Centre station was built, it had signs up saying it would be...

From the first picture: Oh gosh, they've rebuilt the Shell/Bulova Tower!

I hope they don't remove it entirely. I haven't seen it yet!

Regardless of who's right, testing went on for some 3 years, and then after it opened, everyone seemed to realize there was a problem for the first time. If the TTC or Metrolinx had no power to control traffic signals, it's not like they didn't have the right to raise issues and ask for help...

Toronto Ontario Line: Don Valley Station (was Science Centre Station) | 22.8m | 3s | Metrolinx | HDR

Yup, and what's more, the bus platforms are not wheelchair accessible from Line 5 because the only connecting elevator is in a hallway that is (just barely) within the construction zone for the future OL part of the building, so it can't be used until the other part is built and opened. It's...

    Toronto Crosstown Place | 47.55m | 9s | Metrus | Core Architects

A couple of pages back, there is a photo of a sign which explains what it's about. The bear is sitting on a throne. Since the bear is fictional, the statue is unlikely to be a memorial. Some have said it reminds them of the Lincoln Memorial; that's the only connection I can see.

Perhaps in England, they follow this construction standard: "This is an announcement from Genetic Control It is my sad duty to inform you of a four-foot restriction on humanoid height... It's said now that people will be shorter in height They can fit twice as many in the same building site" -...

If someone were to stand at the edge of the platform when the train is arriving, I'm sure they would hear something. (Not that I'm advising you try it!)

To be fair, the comment... ...was a reply to: So after seeing all that, I typed this question into Google search: "how much would it cost to uber from vaugan station to pearson airport" Try it yourself. Copy and paste. You can see the replies from Google's AI, AND Uber's own website. :)
