    PM Mark Carney's Canada

China is only being "antagonized" because they believe that the Taiwan Strait is under their influence and do not fall under the category of International Waters. Countries can only claim 12 Nautical Miles from their coastline as their own waters. Within 200 Nautical Miles it can be claimed as...

My reply was agreeing with you but just pointing out it wasn't recent.

That's an old article, but if you're trying to point out to the User complaining about Canada and Australia sailing through the Taiwan straight, I think you picked a great article lol.

I'm not saying this policy results will be massively beneficial. I am stating that there are some minor benefits to it, just to clarify my point. I agree, majority of the time any Score above 680 will allow you access majority of mortgage products that someone with a 800 Score has. In terms of...

100% Majority of changes won't have a real impact including that small fund for legal assistance. However, I do think creating measures where Credit Score can be increased via Rental Payments does provide benefits. Renter Bill of Rights is interesting and can provide more access to information...

Builder Occupancy's Date during the Selling phase is notorious for being incorrect and usually get extended a year on average. This project's Occupancy is set for 2029, so we're long ways away from predicting everything.

Interesting announcement. Tying in Credit Scores to rent payment I think is an extremely positive thing. https://www.pm.gc.ca/en/news/news-releases/2024/03/27/fairness-every-generation https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/renters-bill-of-rights-among-new-measures-in-upcoming-budget-trudeau-1.6824499

Occupancy Notice is provided by the Sales Team and PDI Appointment dates are pre-set by the developer. Everything is done through Email. Depends , I've done PDIs from December 2023 even with Occupancy notices for March. Aoyuan opted for doing PDIs much earlier compared to other developers imo.

I think they might be referring to PMTSA which is Protected Major Transit Station Area.

I agree as well, but the Bill that's going to be introduced next week is in regards to Fourplexes specifically at four storeys. Ford bringing up an example of a 8 storey unit is an exaggeration since it wouldn't happen and isn't what is even being proposed in the first place. FAR is referring...

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Liberal MP Adil Shamji is expected to introduce a private members bill allowing Fourplex's to be built up to four storeys on any Residental lot or parcel without Municipal Approval. Furthermore, there is no restrictions on FAR or requirement on Parking Spaces. This falls in line with Ford's...

Yes, why wouldn't it be legal. Centrecourt also does this on a regular basis.

I did 2 PDI's for my client's in December & Jan. In December, I mentioned before that Units on the Lower Floors were still unfinished or not even built but they've made alot of progress recently. I think April Occupancy is completely doable since the mid level floors looked relatively finished.

Lobby still has construction to do as well as hallways for the unit. Amenities probably won't be open for another year even after occupancy, from what I could tell, which isn't unusual considering the scale of what it's in the building. Units itself remain largely unfinished, even on the lower...
