Not in MCC, but closer to home... BMO!:

well the base of daniel's (future starbucks) condo looks better (and more urban) than most of the mediocre garbage on toronto's bay st. But--mississauga downtown still resembles some Moscow slab suburb more than an urban happening place to live. Gas fumes with your latte? Na that's an extra .986/litre....

This one makes MCC look so urban. I love it... and a Starbucks opening there is a good thing for the area. What other retail is going in, and how many retail units are available in this podium?

The tenants are a Hasty Market, Doctors office/pharmacy, Dentist office, Subway and Starbucks... there are still some units available though so more should be announced soon!

Thanks for the pics, I haven't seen MMC in a while. So much construction.
No offence, but isn't it kind of ironic that the pictures for a Mississauga thread were taken while randomly driving?

Be nice. How else would you get around in Mississauga?

Yeah, and four people are walking around there to take in all that urbanity.

Well presently there is no reason to walk around that area. 4 Pedestrians isn't bad for an area with nothing to offer. Once Starbucks opens on that corner, I guarantee it will always have pedestrians. There were some more people on the right, which I didn't capture in the picture as well as about 15-20 people further up ahead... all residents of the Amica retirement residences.

I didnt have enough time to capture MCC on foot, but I do plan on another update in the near future entirely on foot.

People here complain when there are no pedestrians, and they still compain when there are 4. If there was 40, people would still complain.

Well, the point is that there's still a very long way to go before the area is what you could call pedestrian friendly.
