Nothing bothers me more than people pulling the BS patriotic card. Do the Flames fans cheer for the Oilers once the Flames are eliminated just because they are from the same province? It is total crap the way Ottawa is considered 'Canada's team'.
Are we that so insecure as Canadians that we are asked to root for the Senators's so we can feel good about ourselves. Where were those fans during the Worlds. Get over it. Support the Sens because you like the team and its players, not because they are 'Canada's team'. I choose to root for the Duck's because I like the players and their style of play. That does'nt make me less of Canadian than a Sens supporter.
