I don't understand why Trump is fascinated with serving guests McDonalds. Even a low income person would not serve their guests McDonalds. It is frankly really weird. It's not like the WH doesn't have catering facilities. And just about any alternative fast food would be better. Sandwiches, pizza, etc. Nothing is more disgusting than 5 minute old McDonalds food.

Speaking of the crises in the Middle East, this thread is more appropriate for such an update.
USS Gerald Ford is late to the party, spotted today sunbathing in Greek waters near Crete. Even if its ultimate mission is to provide combat air patrol over Israel, she can't possibly be in place until some time Saturday at the earliest.
So at least one more day without the next middle eastern crisis?
and where are those hospital ships again? Did they ever reach Greenland? /s

Well, the stock markets are closed for a couple of days, so the timing of the escalation makes sense given the who's in charge of the White House.
Iran is currently retaliating against American bases in the Middle East with missile strikes of their own. Explosions in Qatar, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia.

I question whether Trump has the gumption to see this through. This whole plan is only worthwhile if they actually succeed in changing the regime. If they don't, the regime survivors will be far more belligerent.
And I've never seen a regime changed through just air strikes.....
