I forgot to post these last time. They got lost in my other Pinnacle One Yonge photos that were from the Wikipedia meetup day.

This picture has me thinking which of the 2 supertalls will be taller overall from "sea" level.

The Sky Tower shows the tallest point to be 428.65m from sea level which equates to the 351.85m height from the local ground level.

1 Bloor West doesn't show the final height relative to the sea level but rather just 308.6m as the total height from the local ground level. But the Level 01 Ground does show a height within brackets of 115.80m which I'm assuming is the relative height of the local ground level to the sea level.

This means that the overall height of Pinnacle Sky Tower at 428.65m will be just a hair taller than the overall height of One Bloor at 424.4m! But ultimately they will look about the same height in wide shots like the one above.

Apologies if this calculation has already been discussed or if there are any problems in my calculations!

Check out this guy from @mburrrrr 's pic above. He's walked into the street not realizing the sidewalk is now raised up, while a truck in a narrow lane was heading towards him.

Was the City not planning to expand this pedestrian area while realigning this road intersect with Yonge at a new traffic light? Is that still in the works, and if so does anyone know when?

They started to pour the concrete road base for the extension of Harbour Street east of Yonge in the late fall. I assume it cannot be open until the building is finished as it is used as awork area now so I doubt we will see any major road shifting before this time next year.
