Well phase three will definitely have a bit of a filling effect
Wonder what kind of view might be available from the Ontario Line elevated guide way as you move towards the city!
I should probably say "raised" rather than "elevated". I'm guessing it's been graded to match whatever future redevelopment happens to the plaza on the north-west side. There's a good metre or so drop off the side now.Er...why is it elevated? >.<
Was the City not planning to expand this pedestrian area while realigning this road intersect with Yonge at a new traffic light? Is that still in the works, and if so does anyone know when?Check out this guy from @mburrrrr 's pic above. He's walked into the street not realizing the sidewalk is now raised up, while a truck in a narrow lane was heading towards him.

They started to pour the concrete road base for the extension of Harbour Street east of Yonge in the late fall. I assume it cannot be open until the building is finished as it is used as awork area now so I doubt we will see any major road shifting before this time next year.Was the City not planning to expand this pedestrian area while realigning this road intersect with Yonge at a new traffic light? Is that still in the works, and if so does anyone know when?
