Well, if the TTC and the State and 316 have had a collegial relationship, less w/First Capital here, it would seem.

The TTC is moving to expropriate.........sorta/kinda; for Spadina Streetcar Platform extension project:

Retailers got spooked because they thought everything was going to be torn down within months. Then the developer got spooked when the condo market down turned. Hence, welcome to our ghost town on what was once a lively strip. /sigh

That store with stacks on the floor that you have to gingerly tippy-toe past so as not to cause a domino effect...
...but a bishōnen in biking booty shorts could slip by those quite easily. <3

There's so many of these situations in the city. I wish they were able to keep most of them on some sort of percentage rent or month-to-month. So when the condo market fell out, we weren't left with these vacant storefronts.

Just a little bit ironic maybe that the Wine Rack store near Bloor & Bathurst closed down, but yet the one here @ 328 Bloor remains?
Why not just keep the other one open and close this one?
