This new to the AIC development is located in the s/w quadrant of the Queen/Parliament intersection, it does not include the heritage building on the corner destined to be the new St. Lawrence district library. *
* (its shows as included as retained heritage, but in fact has been sold to the City)

Specifically it includes the following properties:

29, 331, 333, 335-337 and 339-345
Queen Street East and 135R, 139, 139R, 141 and 141R Berkeley
Street, along with the easterly portion of a public lane running
east from Berkeley Street.

Proposal is 48s residential, by a_A

Just for @Paclo to follow along...... I said Newpoint originally in the title field as that was the name offered in the Planning Report.
 
aA have certainly played a part in the overall blandness of condominium design in this city. To their credit, the use of curtain wall is a good part of many of their designs and developers have embraced that. They have done great work at times. But a newer building like 8 Cumberland is, in my opinion, an incredibly lazy design, especially for its location. It could have been built in 2005. This design on Queen is a welcome break from their general austerity, with its apparent colour scheme and stacked heights. They are clearly capable of breaking out of their mold, as the Teahouse North tower at 501 Yonge proved. I just wish it had been the taller of the two as I find it much more interesting than the south tower. Anyway, let’s hope this turns out really well.

There is interior amenity space in the mechanical floor above the 49th, making it 50 by UT standards
 
Love the design, hate to see that Buvette Pacey's space is included in the parcel.... it's one of the few cute and cool spots in this neighbourhood.
