I agree with 2 above . The balconies are interesting and do somewhat 'save' the building. The podium just doe not mix/match anything. Plus the colour on the podium is rather nasty.

...making the podium Irish Setter brown saved it from the doghouse though, IMO.

It saved it from looking boring and just made it look ugly instead I feel sorry for anyone that has residents in this building having to walk up to that every single day

...I would say it was much more uglier before the paint job. I did not say that the paint job removed it from being ugly. Lipstick on a pig and that sorta thing.
