Hydro had 4 trucks and crew working on the supported pole at Central Pkwy to and there is a 3rd excavated site there as well.

No one working at Counteypark today,

No concrete pour for the Derry Station formwork.

Some concrete has been pour for Topflight diamond area and on track to open on the 15th as plan. Saw no change for the OMSF guideway rebuilt with someone maning the site these days. Will not be surprise to see trackwork on Topflight torn up like the OMSF guideway.

The 407 westbound on ramp area is being clear and graded for the ramp as well the new area where the ramp will be move to for the new sharp curve.

The only thing I saw new in Brampton was at Ray Lawson with a hole been dug where new paving took place some month ago.
 
I drove the south south service road to Mineola stretch yesterday and Hydro was working on the east side poles. I might fly QEW to Port Credit station this weekend since I haven't done so this year. I should also hit up the 403 and bthorpe stretch too.

Force to do a number of unplanned things today, that I was able to have an unplan look at the corridor starting in Brampton on my way home. Brampton still a dead zone. Hard to say what has taken place for the 407 bridge and ramps. Crew doing grading and landscaping of the creek area from the 407 to the bus driveway.

Crews were working on 2 rail splicing areas for the southbound track. Some formwork for the northbound in/out tracks is in place for concrete pour. Saw no other work and will say October 15 date will be miss with an 23rd opening date.

Saw nothing new for the OMSF guideway but a sump pump sitting there. Could be pouring on the east-west section out of view this week.

Courtneypark Intersection has steel mats in place as well some ties for the northbound track with mats being place for the southbound track.

Fail to note on Oct 4 that all the work between the 401 and Britannia is completed with both lanes open.

Covering has been removed from the northbound track and being use for part of the southbound track at CP. that has been poured.

Mobile sign for southbound traffic place midway between CP and Fairview saying East Fairview close Oct 10-11 between 7am to 7pm and no sign yet for northbound.

Rebar being installed for the Cooksville station.

Nothing new from the QRW to PC other than pads have been poured for two Green Boxes on the west side from the station.

Hydro strill working on the s-w corner for the North Service Rd and no change to the north.

The centre section north of King St toally clear now meaning Dundas work must be nearing completion so they can build the guideway from Kng to Dundas and close King to put the guideway across it.

Most of the mats, ties and rail in place between Angus And Hillcrest.

More rebar placed for Cooksville Station. For most of this year, I felt there isn't enough room to expand the platform from 50m to 100m when they add the 2nd car in about 15 years like all the other ones. Looking at it from a different angle today, there is no way to have a 100m platform other than rebuilding the CPKC bridge with a clear span over the platform.

The trackwork north of the CPKC bridge ready for alignment, rail bracing and formwork to anchor the ties in place.

What every was plan for Fairview Intersection this weekend, it did not happen and most likely someone forgot this is the long weeken or X was ready to be done,

Most of the southbound track is anchor in place.

Don’t be crazy. We only approve things at MCC and at the south east corner of the QEW ramp in order to keep the integrity of the communities. Especially the port credit community.
Say it louder brother! We must keep Mississauga safe from those greedy developers....and thereby watch as the city loses population and gets more traffic since Brampton and Oakville continue to grow beside us.

In all seriousness it's refreshing to slowly see some developments happening outside MCC, but there needs to be some level of adjustment made for how dense MCC will be in comparison to the rest of the city.

I think it’s telling what we prioritize as a city that we build right beside the qew but god forbid beside an all day go.
 
There has been a lot of high density built and still being built outside of MCC, including dozens of buildings in Port Credit.
 
MCC a bus terminal a highway and 70 floors.

Port credit, no highway, and all day GO trains… 30 floors.

The math isn’t mathing.
I would say the PC has a highway, has the Lakeshore (only connection south of the QEW across the river), and as you mentioned, all day GO, so the connection utility is high. Plus legacy density and a fairly steady add to that density in the past several years and currently (Brightwater etc). Seventy stories is not the singular determinant in building communities or density. MCC is going to achieve high density levels, but as the planned Oakville mid-town debates moves along, how much density is enough.
