Chipping away at the roof and top floor of 88 Isabella St. Almost all balcony railings are now gone. A crane holds a screen up to prevent debris from bouncing onto the heads of the pedestrians below.

It was always an old, yet quiet, little building. I lived in the buildings in the foreground about 25 years ago (long before the white and black paint job). It's pretty sad seeing it go. The apartments in there were nice.

Some day we may say the same when one of the glass towers is demolished - not little, but anonymous and indistinguishable from their neighbours.

When the new tower goes up it is definitely going to change your view
